Mid-green, oval pointed leaves, slightly wavy at the edges. white flowers. Delicious, pungent flavour, sharper (better!) than true oregano. Good winter performance as leaves will not turn black.

Oregano is used in tomato sauces, with meats, fish, cheese, egg dishes, salads, cheeses, and with vegetables including tomatoes, zucchini, and green beans.
Medicinal
It has a beneficial effect on the digestive and respiratory systems and is also used to promote menstruation.
