Tak Agro’s SSP Fertilizer provides micronutrients that are important for plant development
Single Superphosphate (SSP) Tak Agro Fertilizer | 50kg also known as ordinary calcium phosphate, referred to as calcium, is a phosphate fertilizer directly produced by the decomposition of phosphate rock with sulfuric acid.
The main component is calcium hydrate Ca(H2PO4)2·H2O, with a small amount of phosphoric acid. It also contains anhydrous calcium sulphate which is useful for sulphur-depleted soils.
Superphosphate contains pp. 514% to 20% (80% to 95% of which is soluble in water) and is a water-soluble quick-acting phosphate fertilizer. Grey or off-white powder (or granules), which can be directly used as a phosphate fertilizer. It can also be used as a compound fertilizer.
Primary Phosphorus Source
Promotes root development, flowering, fruiting, and energy transfer (ATP).
Calcium & Sulfur Supply
Corrects Ca/S deficiencies (e.g., in legumes, brassicas, acidic soils).
Soil Conditioning
Gypsum (CaSO₄) improves sodic soil structure and reduces aluminum toxicity.
Cost-Effective
Economical P source compared to high-analysis fertilizers (e.g., DAP/MAP).
Ideal Crops:
For staple crops like maize, rice, wheat, and tubers needing phosphorus, sulfur, and calcium
In alkaline or acidic soils, SSP improves nutrient availability and crop performance.
For field crops and pastures, used pre-plant or as maintenance top-dress.
