Force Top Herbicide | 1L

Force Top Herbicide is a selective post-emergence herbicide used primarily in maize (corn) crops. It is manufactured by Bayer CropScience. Force Top contains two active ingredients: tembotrione and thiencarbazone-methyl.

TEMBOTRIONE

• Tembotrione is a triketone herbicide that inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD), an enzyme essential for chlorophyll biosynthesis in plants.
• This inhibition leads to the death of susceptible weeds.

THIENCARBAZONE-METHYL

• Thiencarbazone-methyl is a sulfonylurea herbicide that inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), another enzyme crucial for branched-chain amino acid synthesis in plants.
• Its mode of action also leads to the death of susceptible weeds.

Force Top Herbicide is effective against various broadleaf weeds and grasses, including some of the toughest weeds like waterhemp, pigweed, lambsquarters, and foxtails. It is applied post-emergence to maize crops to control these weeds while being safe for the crop itself.
