Rubber Grommets are used in conjunction with take-off fittings, tubing, and barbed irrigation fittings. They provide a seal around the fitting through a wall in a plastic container, usually to provide a small diameter poly pipe branch from a large supply pipe.
The grommets fit inside a hole drilled in the supply pipe or a reservoir container of water or nutrient for a garden or series of pots.
It is used to connect start connectors to the pipe, facilitating efficient water movement through the pipes.
